Welcome to the Keystone Speed League Website

The Keystone Speed League was founded in 1980 by Woody Laufer.  We are still going strong in 2010-2011 and have eight active teams supporting the league.  The league has five competitive local competitions, one regional championship, and two national championships.  Our skaters represent the Eastern part of the United States at the National Inline Speed Skating Championships  and the National Outdoor Inline Speed Skating Championships held throughout the United States each summer.  We are a league of champions!

Next Meet:  Our next local competitive meet is scheduled for April 10, 2011 at the Fantasy Skating Center in Reading, PA.  For additional information about this event, please click on the calendar button.  A special discount rate of $92.00 is available at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Wyomissing but only until March 31, 2011.  Please call 1-877-354-1011 to secure your hotel room now!  When calling the reservation number, be sure to ask for the group “speed meet” to get the discount.

Items for sale at meet:  Our meet T-shirt for the month of April will feature our “skater person” with a new inspirational quote to add to your T-shirt collection.  Stay tuned for the color and quote for April.  The cost of the league T-shirt is $10.00.  We have sizes for both children and adult.

Inline speed skating bands: – We will also be selling inline speed skating bands.  The bands are red with white lettering.  The bands are $3.00 each.    Both items are used as a fundraiser to help supplement the league expenses.
